Much gratitude to Nima Chandler and Susan Chandler for starting this program in 2024; researching programs for fire safety and educating themselves and neighbors; getting the initial work of Firewise certification off the ground; setting up the website​; mentoring the current committee and much, much more!

The committee's responsibilites include setting up and mainting this website, maintaining a contact list of members, sending out two newsletters/year, collecting reports and receipts for reapplication in September or October,  and assisting with meeting goals to maintain Firewise Community status going forward.
